Grottammare- Living Nativity

This Living Nativity was founded in 2004. It takes place in the historic centre of Grottammare, with hundreds of people wearing period costumes. The Living Nativity is a veritable path that winds through the streets of the old town. On this occasion torches and candles are lit so that the grottoes of Grottammare, opened to the public, come back to life and turn into the Palestinian houses of Jesus' time.

The nativity scenes are focused on ancient crafts faithfully reconstructed with period costumes and vintage tools.
