The unexpected Christmas - The widespread events in the province of Pesaro and Urbino.

il Natale che non ti aspetti

From 26 November 2022 to 6 January 2023, the itinerant adventure of  “Christmas you don't expect", with more than 100 events, leads to the discovery of over 26 villages in the province of Pesaro and Urbino. There are places that are worth visiting; here you can taste and buy delicious products,  while visiting  artistic nativity scenes, medieval castles that sparkle with colors, Renaissance villages illuminated only by candlelight. There are also events for children  with the company of Santa Claus and his elves, local crafts, zero km food and any types of wines, in a warm and magic atmosphere typical of Christimas.

That’s a wonderful journey among some of Italy’s most attractive villages, ranging from the Adriatic Sea to the Montefeltro area: Candelara, Fano, Fossombrone, Frontone, Mombaroccio, Pergola, Urbino, Urbania, Cagli and Paravento, Fermignano, Fratte Rosa, Barchi, Gradara, Macerata Feltria, Mondolfo, San Costanzo, San Lorenzo in Campo, Montecchio di Vallefoglia, Montemaggiore al Metauro, Monte Grimano Terme, Orciano di Pesaro, Piobbico, Sant'Angelo in Lizzola, Sant'Ippolito. The biggest news is the confirmation of all live events: the unique and inimitable Biroccini race (cart race) is back in Mondolfo, as are the spectacular living nativity scenes in Piobbico and Paravento, the futuristic staging in Fossombrone, the enchanted snowfalls in Mombaroccio, the suggestion of thousands of candles in Candelara. Magic events can be enjoyed  in the suggestive castle of Frontone, as well as in Montefabbri, that is mentioned as one of Italy’s most beautiful villages.  There are Christmas surprises for all ; local Pro loco  are also involved. See more>>
